Default Replacing Driveshaft with a used one

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty sure my center bearing is shot and I also had two different mechanics verify my conclusion. I ordered a used one from eBay for 100 bucks with 44K miles on it and the current car has almost 192K.

I read numerous posts about checking the run-out and making alignment marks on the drive shaft when rebuilding. However, how about when just swapping them out? Is it just a bolt up operation and making sure it's straight and true? I saw about colored dots, but what if the dots have faded?

You can use the attached PDF as a reference. It has detail instructions on installing the propeller/drive shaft.

When I put on a rebuilt one from Colorado Drive Shaft I tried my best to install it like the same one I removed. After carefully marking before removal and transfer the markings over to the rebuilt. I think as long as the driveshaft is dynamically balanced you should be fine.

Good luck. Cheers!
