Agree with Radarguy. Mine only updates the area I drive in most frequently via the MMI. I thought the owners manual or website mentions this. That could be just one state or could be regional, like the whole Northeast. It may actually tell me the region but I don't recall. Plus the download size displayed when using the MMI is like 2GB while it's 10GB when downloading via the website.

Map update
The version before I updated was V0395801GE0048NAR 2016
Now it shows different version with the end now stating 16/17.
All the states individually state 2016 which I expect since 2017 probably hasn't been released yet.

If you use the SD card, they will all indicate 2016/17. You can update only your state and surrounding states over the air.

You are correct. I did it over the air and it updated Florida only. For some reason that stupid Audi connect site does not recognize my password. Otherwise I would have downloaded it to an SD card.

If you call the customer service 800 number they can work with you to reset your password.
