Default Plastidip

What's everyone's take on plastidip? I was thinking about applying plastidip in anthracite grey with a coat of glossifier.
Anyone done this yet? Id love to see their results.

This is just my humble opinion, but I feel like it is ugly, a waste of time and money, and also a waste to plastic coat beautiful forged and machined wheels that were meant to look good without any coating. I compare this to putting LED running lights under your car and a huge muffler on the back.

This is simply a false statement that shows you clearly do not understand what Plastidip is. If anything, it will INCREASE resale/trade-in value because it protects the paint underneath. It is very easily removed when you need to remove it...simply peel it off.

+1. Great for wheels that get trashed in winter from mag chloride

I plan to do the same this winter with both my car and my wheels. I did this several times over the past few years with wheels because of the salt and gravel that Maryland uses for its roads. Its a little irritating to remove from wheels that have a BBS Mesh style face because of all the ridges; however much cheaper than refinishing a $600 wheel.
