Default Help with Level Control Module

I am getting a few DTC's when I run my VAGCOM. I am going to try and fix one at a time(money constraints) Here is the first one I want to address. Is there not more than one sensor, how do I tell which one it is? Any suggestions on how to fix?

There is only one pressure sensor and it is part of the valve block, just behind front left wheel. This might be just a connection.

You have vcds, so go into the level control module and run the output tests, once you start the tests go through each one till you get to the accumulator test and see if it passes.

I suspect it won't, the fault you mention quite often comes up in relation to worn compressors and is the fault you get when its unable to reach the required pressure.

But anyway run the test and see what pressure you reach on the accumulator test and see if it passes all the tests.

No if you have a good battery then no it will be fine, you will hear the compressor run as you do the tests.

If battery is suspect then you could hook up a charger or run the engine.

OK, here are the results of all out put test for the Level Control. Is there any where I can go to see what they mean or can anyone help? By the way it said passed.

Step1 - Vehicle is being leveled = -1 to -2mm, 7 to 8mm, -3 to 4 mm, 1 to 2 mm
Step 2- front left being lowered - -22 to 23 (distance) 4.88 (pressure)
Step 3 front right lowered -22mm to -23(distance), 5.21 bar (pressure)
Step 4 -vehicle is being leveled - 4 to -6, 3 to 4, -3 to -4, 2 to 3
Step 5 - rear left being lowered -22mm (distance) 3.25 bar(pressure)
Step 6 -rear right being lowered -20 to 22 (distance), 2.93 bar(pressure)
Step 7 -vehicle being leveled -3 to -4, 7 to 8, -4 to -6, 1 to 2
Step 8 - pressure ac starts off at 12 then 8.46

I can't remember of the top what step the accumulator test was but I'm guessing 8 by what you wrote so from the readings you got did it say passed?

When I ran mine I got 12 bar as a max reading too which on a system that is 16bar max from new I think we can say that is ok.

Have you tried clearing the fault on the level control because it may have been a intermittent gremlin that's nothing to worry about looking at your pressures.

Seems strange that the tests ran ok and is reporting pressure ok but still shows an error, if it's not creating any other issues, then you could just ignore it but if you do want to get to the bottom of it try and clean and reseat the electrical connector on the valve block in the front wheel well behind the arch liner, if it still won't clear you could try another valve block.
