Hi guys, my name is Justin. I live just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and I'm 22. My a8l makes the 43rd vehicle I have owned and the 7th or 8th Audi. Many more of those were volkswagens. I bought this car a few months ago off of Matthew Bounds, so some of you may recognize it from the forums. I will assure you, however, that nothing that Matt has done to the car is still there. I have gone over and redone everything, and I am nowhere close to being done yet. It seems like this is the only place to talk about d3s, so here I am.

First off, its a 2004 a8l with the 4.2. It is rare silver with black interior.

The car is not my daily driver, during the summer i rode a Yamaha r6 and for the winter I have a 6th gen celica for a beater. The Audi is mainly just driven to shows around the east coast. Before next season it is getting a complete workover from the inside out. Changes will most likely be posted here before anywhere else.

I think the car is sweet as, forget what all the haters think, most of them don't seem to understand that the best thing about cars is enjoying them.

Tells us more about the brake upgrade. Part source, fitment, etc. You have an interesting show car here. The color grew on me and surprised me that a car this size could pull it off. I suspect you have lots of warning messages on the dash due to all the sensors that have been bypassed; suspention, abs, etc. Which you likely don't really care about since its not a daily driver. Anyway, interesting in details on the front brake mods.

Okay wait, I accidentally lied. The brakes are the only thing I haven't changed out. The previous owner did those. From what I understand they're b7 rs4. The rotors measure almost 15 inches in diameter.

And my cluster is actually totally light free. They bother me, so I took the cluster apart and removed the bulbs that were constantly on. This consisted of abs, brake (typical parking brake failure), air suspension and ecs.

I like folding my mirrors up because nobody outside of us audi people know that they do that, and it surprises them. Haha.

The very main issue I've had with the car is that the blower motor went out in a giant cloud of smoke one day and hasn't worked since. Going to try to fix that over the winter.
