Default Removing back seat on an S8?

Hey gang,
ran into some issue taking out the rear seats in my S8 - my car doesn't seem to have the two nuts around the center headrest like A8s do. Could someone point me to a bentley write up on how to take the backrest out on S8s?

Ah figured it out, there's a bit a trickery on the S8/cars without the ski pass - the back deck piece immediately behind the headrest needs to be popped up (held by two clips) and then you can get to the upper bolts.

Mishar, do you happen to have a bentley instruction for the back deck removal? I'm trying to insulate the B&O woofer a little bit.

Try first by just removing Bose subwoofer only (not its frame with the amplifier). If that is not enough it gets tricky. You have to remove back seat (I guess you already did), D pillars trim, rest of trim covering the rear deck, as far as I remember including C pillars trim, and big part of trunk trim. All that on plastic clips that may snap if puled wrong way. I did that in order to get to the rear sunshade. I was sorry many times that I started.

Does the B&O subwoofer thing come out from the top? There's a square-ish cutout around it.

Sorry. I thought you are replacing Bose with B&O. Bose definitely comes out down to the trunk.

For the B&O subwoofer removal it also starts with "remove the rear shelf".

Surrounding perforated grille (like one on BOSE) should come off easily. Just pop the front part up.
