Where exactly are the lift points ?
On an S8, the manual says the front lift point is about at the same level as the jacking point.(whatever that means)I looked under and I'm not sure where exactly this point is so I can place a hydraulic jack.In the back it says to lift it from the jacking location.I'm trying to swap summer with winter tires.
Thank you
Thank you

Front lift points are just behind front wheels. You can see spots where the car jack should be attached. Same ones for a floor jack. Rears are just in front rear wheels. look same as fronts.

I did locate the jacking slot for the car jack but the manual says not to lift the car from there .(for front)
It says the car should be lifted from the lift location which is somewhere nearby but I cannot identify it.

If you don't want to use jack point area--which is fine if either you have a slotted insert or a flat rubber jack head--use the inverted pressed steel part that sticks down/is somewhat lower and located in toward the subframe area. Look behind wheel about a foot in and you will see sort of a bump; very sturdy there. Again flat rubber head to jack is best for that; otherwise remove metal cup the older steel type jacks often have. This area is where I normally go.
On an S8 though you are yet lower so need a low clearance jack to get in that far. I put mine (W12 w/ std suspension) in lift mode first to get it up an inch, then switch to jack mode.
