VCDS to set Drive Select default...but why?
I noticed in various VagCom lists of adjustments...and entry for adjusting the Drive Select startup default. For example, you can set all operations to startup with DYNAMIC settings. Buy doesn't the vehicle do this anyhow? When I start my '15 SQ5, it's always in the mode that was last used.
Am I missing something, or are certain vehicle years different when it comes to this. Or am I crazy, and my vehicle really isn't starting up in the mode that it displays?

When I drive my '15 SQ5 in dynamic or individual (all settings on dynamic except with comfort steering) and turn it off it restarts NOT in the exact mode I left it. It is always in D. I have to flip it to S or toggle through the Drive Select and rechoose the drive.
