hi i have 2000 audi s4 and went out one mourning and it wont move i do not have a vag-com scanner and have not had a chance to get it scanned im in the middle of ordering just the cable to hook up and run vsds program, but in the mean time some opinions on the issue would be much appreciated , so the car will not move, it feels like it wants to engage and it trys to move a little, but will not go, any ideas? i do not have the solid red light across the gear selection on dash so do not think its in famous limp mode, looked at the tcm on passengers side was in mint condition no corrosion or water damage, it will go into to every gear dont know if it actually is but it say on the dash it is and when in neutral can roll the car but not in any other gear so i believe the multifunction switch is working, (not sure) have not took a look at the ecu for the tranny dont know were quite located i know the drivers side havent had time again to look any opinions or ideas would be awesome guys thanks

43 views not one opinion im waiting to do anything really tell i get a vag scanner going. but thinking mabye in the mean time while waiting try a transmission fluid and filter change :/ ????
