‘AudiWorld’ Member Upgrades to a 2020 A8L
A long wheelbase wonder replaces a quarter-century old Mercedes-Benz in the garage of this AudiWorld member.
One of our newest members, uae_83, just joined the Audi family in a big way. After driving a 1996 Mercedes-Benz S600 and a 2015 Cadillac Escalade for years, he decided to upgrade.
When we say he upgraded, we mean it. He really went all out, ordering one of the biggest, baddest Audis on the market today. After a protracted special order, he finally received his new Audi, a 2020 A8L TFSI.
According to uae_83, some of his special order options — namely, the ion & perfume fragrance dispenser air conditioning and full OLDE lights — delayed the car quite a bit. It’s here now, though, and boy, does it ever look stunning.
The glossy black paint looks deep enough to swim in. That’s thanks to a professional detailing job that included full paint protection film and a ceramic coating. Every panel was protected — even the piano black trim on the interior.
It’s clear that uae_83 is in it for the long haul. With any luck, he’ll keep his new Audi for as long as he had his old Benz, and with the work he’s had done, it should look great the entire time.

Our members were all to happy to welcome uae_83 to the Audi World family. Forum sponsor Alex@Europrice.us said “Wow that is a stately looking machine. Love the black and chrome combo for a car that size.”
We agree. In our opinion, nobody does understated luxury quite like Audi. Maybe we’re a little biased, but the car looks almost perfect. Alex@Europrice.us pointed out that the car may look even better mildly lowered, as just about any car does. We agree with that, too.
Another member, angrypengu, said “Not only a gorgeous car but amazing photo taking skills. Congrats!” He’s got a point. After all, the great photos were what originally grabbed our attention, and now it’s on the Audi World homepage.
We’re glad to welcome uae_83 to the family, and we hope that he has many years of enjoyment with his new A8L. We can’t wait to see what sort of adventures this big, beautiful sedan gets into over the next few years.
