Default Blown piston

I've blown a piston on my old 165kw TT. Going about 200 km/h, I suspect the heat in the engine was unbearable, oil dipstick funnel cracked and the car started to lose oil significantly. Car was losing power until I heard a big explosion. Checked pressures in cylinders, 2nd had 0. Removed the head to see this. What is your opinion, whole new engine? Or is it possible to just replace pistons, valves, recalibrate and hope it doesn't happen again?

I think the least expensive option would be to find a low mileage motor from a wrecking yard. Try to find one where they can demonstrate it running for you. can't tell if there is wall damage to that hole and the head may not be salvageable or worth saving.
