Default check engine light on, issue with O2 sensor?

Hi all,

I have a 2000 A4 1.8T and the che came on with the following p-code

P1114 -- Bank1-Sensor2 Internal Resistant too High

P0140--O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor2 No Activity Detected

P0411--Sec.Air Inj.Sys. Incorrect Flow Detected

My guess is that P1114 and P0140 is related to a dead O2 but not sure if it could cause P0411.

Any one seen this before?

Also, where is the second O2 sensor? should be behinde the cat but I could not locate it.

Thanks in advance.

Default sounds like a bad O2 sensor...

the second sensor is located on the cat very close to the firewall. It is a bitch to get to.

The back sensor does nothing but measure cat efficiency. The front sensor monitors air fuel mixture.

Replace the front sensor and see if the last code clears.

BTW, there is a lot more traffic on the B5A4 section, lots of good information there.

Default Re: sounds like a bad O2 sensor...

thx... I'll check the second O2 first, since there is no drop in MPG, the first O2 might be ok.
