engine problem
Hello everyone,
I've a 93 audi 90cs which was running just fine about 2 weeks ago. And now seems like its falling apart on me. When its cold it vibrates and the idle speed varies from time to time, sometimes it falls below 600rpms and then it goes back to 900 or above. Heater temps are not as high but it still works. And the engine runs cold, it barely reaches 4th mark on the gauge (below 1st thick one) when idling and when driving it falls down to 3rd. Its harder to start now too. I've checked compression on all cylinders and I've got a constant 130psi reading on all 6. My motor mounts were replaced last summer. I also got a bad exhaust leak recently which can be fixed with 2 "donut" gaskets. I dont know where to start looking. Any suggestions?

One is the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor (G62) that is on the left side of the coolant...
pipe - it feeds coolant temp to the ECM. The other sensor is the thermo switch (F76) that provides readings to the coolant temp gauge, A/C compressor, and the high coolant temp warning light. F76 is located on the right side coolant pipe.
