I have HORRIBLE gas milage! Whats wrong?
I can only go about 350km (220miles) on one tank of gas, mix city/highway driving. I used to get at leat 500 km, i think, cause I never really paid attention to it. But just recently i've been filling up A LOT. Anyone know whats wrong? I got a 96 2.8 12v. Thanks.

Novel idea... O2 prunes... fix "sluggishness" right up! And since I'm on the topic of prunes...
and it is the height of the cold/flu season here's a little limmerick for ya:
For relief from your cold this advice;
drink two gallons prune juice on ice.
Won't cure your cold or so I'm told,
but before you cough you'll think twice!!

I just calculated it and i'm getting about 14 mpg!!??
So if theres something wrong with the 02 sensors, can I fix it, or do I have to get new one? If so where do I get them from?

Better than a Hummer!
Make sure your O2 sensors are really at fault, because those things are expensive. I don't know if you can use a VAG-COM to monitor O2 sensor function? I guess you can find out if the engine is running rich, which seems to be the case if you get such poor gas mileage.
In case the O2 sensors are really shot:
Your car has four O2 sensors, 2 before and 2 behind the cat. The 2 behind the cat are only for monitoring the exhaust, but the 2 pre-cat O2 sensors are used to determine the fuel/air mix. Means the two pre-cat sensors have to be in good shape for best performance and gas mileage.
I see three different types of O2 sensors listed, for example at the partsbin.com. Get the ones with the correct OEM connector, or you may have to do some soldering. Therewas big thread about O2 sensors a couple months ago on this forum, so you might be able to find more info there.
To replace the O2 sensors you will need an extension and an O2 sensor socket.
