Default i just uploaded pics (in my pic poster)of the lower half of the IM, just finished

the first coat of glyptal. its in the oven right now cookin to perfection.
tomorrow im gonna shoot glyptal on the inside of the lower IM. ill tape off the runners and shoot it nice and thick..

a little overboard, but still nice job. I never really realized how porous the OEM casting was before seeing those pics.

Default its the epoxy thats porus. i thought id experiment with filling the spaces

between the runners. i thought the runners protruding into the cavity of the IM would cause turbulence when the air rushes in from the TB. so, i filled them in. im going to tape off the runners tomorrow and shoot glyptal on the entire inside of the lower IM.

i would have removed the excess wall height before using the epoxy, but thats just me.... flow test?

Default then the runner wouldnt be the same length. thats why the runners protrude

into the cavity..

That would also negate any helmholtz resonance tuning in the primary runners
