LLTek 12v intake (used), good mod or no?
I have already searched, and so far don't see any negative comments on the intake.
My car has about 84k miles and is completely stock so far, so would adding an aftermarket intake compromise it's reliability?
Also, does the LLTek intake have sufficient heat-shielding? And anyone had problems with their car after intake mod?

after getting it...
I totally like the sound, and it does add some performance. But the overall quality of the heat shield, etc is not grand. I had a hard time trying to get mine to fit up properly. Also, you should get a longer screw that goes into the fender if you get it... I overtorqued the stock one and it stripped the damn nut cuz it only held on by like a thread and a half.
For the $250 it costs new... not worth it... but if you can get it cheap, and you want that sound... what the hell... go for it.
I personally would love to go mance's ram air way, but I get too many flooded streets around me to have a pick up that low on the car... so I'm probably just gonna keep the car the way I got it for now.
