Default Manual transmission/differential fluid - where can I get it?

When I put my car into understeer situations, there seems to be some kind of rapid clunking from the front-center of the car. YES, I'm sure its not my ABS working. I don't know if its some sort of traction control issue - I'm unaware that our cars had ESP/TCS of any sort. No, I don't think the shocks are bottoming out - not enough body lean/I'm testing this on a flat surface, and the noise is coming from the wrong place.

Could this be a sign of differential fluid getting old? If so, where can I buy the appropriate tranny/diff fluid? (Center/Front diff and manual tranny take the same fluid apparently) I've looked on autohausaz and haven't been able to find anything. It's a 5-speed.

Note that the car has about 165kmi on it and I have no idea when the lubricant in the transmission was last changed. I got the car at 134kmi and didn't start working on it till 148kmi. Judging by the condition that the car was in when I bought it, I have little confidence in the previous owner. Maintenance was probably done by the dealer at stretched intervals if at all.

Default Red Line MT-90 (GL-4) works well for me

If you are in a colder climate than me (temperate coastal climate), a mix of MT-90 and the thinner MTL may be better.

In the rear differential I have been using Red Line 75-90 (GL-5). Don't forget to change the fluid in the rear differential. You will likely see a lot of "glitter."

I find Red Line locally at various auto parts shops.

Default How often should this be done?

It's been 2.5 years since I've had mine changed. I was thinking of maybe doing it this summer.

Default In order to maximize service life...

I'd change the transmission fluid and rear differential fluid after a few thousand miles in a new car and then every 75-100k miles.
