bored .030 over, 13:1 pistons, stroker kit, Ti conn rods, forged crank...
cams and 310-325cc injectors, extrude-honed heads, single path intake manifold, larger flow-contoured Ti soda-filled valves, Ti keepers and retainers, lots of head porting prior to extrude-honing and combustion chamber massaging. Corvette LT1 dual 58mm plate throttle body mounted at front of engine. MAS instead of MAF, 4" forced air induction. Equal-length headers, no cats, dual 3" exhaust and MoTec or HallTech engine management. No air, no power steering.
It couldnt be an emissions legal street car but once you get over 325HP normally aspirated in one of these you can kiss clean emissions inspections goodbye forever anyway.

indeed. people think 2.7 and 2.8 aren't the same. but it's just less stroke...
in order to lower the compressio ration to make the turbo happy. 12v runs 10.3 ratio which is excessive for a turbo for a stock car.
