Ten bucks says Mike tries to enlighten me on...

qualitative changes vs. quantitative changes. Then he'll give me a dirty look for using the s-word. Yes Virginia, "slow". Bwahahaha. I kid I kid.

But yeah, I look forward to the chat for sure. I'm genuinely interested in the story behind the 12v tuning scene.

Somewhere the word "scene" can be defined as 1 or 2 people, and...

maybe that place is here. Hehehe.

I was thinking to myself "there's companies that make 12v stuff like TDL, so there's gotta be people doing it" but then it dawned on me that TDL went out of business. Doh! I guess the 12v tuning scene is more like the land of intrepid adventurers than anything else. The redheaded stepchildren of the Audi world. Guess that's why I bought a 12v, I already had the hair for it!

The Week before he had about a dozen S4's their.

I had heard that he dynoing them from a mechanic at a tuner Shop. So if my dyno was off their probably was too?... I think that it could be the fact that it is a mustang dyno. Word from Road and Track says that it dynos lower than others.

This forum isn't helping me win any bets...

With my father who has been riding that whole "oh man you bought a german car...haha, sucker" schtick for years. This forum and the A4 are punching holes in my argument about german cars breaking the same but certainly not as frequently as, say, his Dodge Intrepid which has 250,000 miles on it and has only needed a serpentine belt and new injectors. I have to think up a new "why german cars are better" line, and quick!!
