Hey guys so Im having some issues with my 2010 Audi a4 2.0t.

Check Engine light came on and 2 Codes came up

- P2279 (Intake Air System Leak)

Which i think triggered the secondary code

- P0299 (Turbo/Supercharger Under-Boost)

Now Ive had my Engine rebuilt by Audi Warranty Twice in the past 2 years First Pistons due to Oil Consumption Problem and then Breather Valve, Horrible Service and now they won' help me as my Pre-Owned Warranty Ended.

Anyone Experienced same issues?

Im thinking it could be caused by the Intake Manifold something as simple as a gasket there was a recall on the 2010 A3's but not A4's.

Any Input or Past Experiences would be Appreciated.

I've reaplced a lot of intake manifolds on those cars, but for intake manifold runner controller issues.

Best place to start is going to be with a smoke test.

Or, this is something you can do at home...
Make a boost leak tester and test the system between the intake boot going to the turbo, and the pipe that goes into the throttle body. Charge the system with about 5psi of air, and use soapy water to spray around until you find bubbles.

For me p0299 was the turbo but check the boost control solenoid for the Actuator. That would read for the leak, there's 2 little plastic nozzles for air on it and they break easily when feeling around workshop-servicemanuals website has a good break down for the parts if you take a look u would be able to tell if the hoses are free. How's the power to the car?
