2.7t Engine misfire even side of motor
I had my car tuned yesterday and they found a minor misfire on the 2,4,6 side of the motor, its all cylinders.
Not bad enough to set a light or cause a noticeable drop in performance but its there.
Tech suggested O2. He checked for leaks, DV's, etc and they all came back perfect. New turbo's, new EGT's, everything else checked out.
I do get what I feel is a hesitation of sorts in 6th gear accelerating from 70 and up.
Car acclerates fine and I think the feeling is from a mount issue but it could be the motor.
Engine was recently(less than 2K miles) removed for turbo replacement. It was leaked down and checked over so no problems there.
Before I pony up for new O2's I'd like to see if there are any other things to check.
They did check the ignition amplifiers and those were good. Doubt 3 coil packs went back all on one side.
Thanks!

Re: 2.7t Engine misfire even side of motor
I had my AR chiped last weekend and lost three coil packs withen 20 miles. I lost 2,5 and 6 it could be luck or in your case bad luck that you lost all three on one side.
good luck

Cylinders are counted in this manner....
rear of engine
pass drivers
3 6
2 5
1 4
front of engine
Swap the misfiring cyliders coils with the other coils and see if the misfires follow the coils. An O2 sensor will not cause misfires.
