Audi timing belt replacement cost
I need to replace the timing belt on my a6 and wondering if I take it to the dealer or do it myself. Does anyone know a rough price of what the dealer would charge? Or what it would even cost to do myself?

Hi,
Plenty of discussion on this if you do some searching. I have heard anywhere from $1200 - 2000 depending on where you get it done. As for doing it yourself, You can get a full parts kit from blauparts for around 3$300 and they will rent you a tool kit for around $40 which has everything you need for the job. Hope this helps.
