Boost spikes with GIAC X chip a problem? Details inside...
I finally ran a couple of WOT logs using VAG-COM.
Graphed requested vs. actual boost.
Requested boost was about 1.8 bar (can't remember exactly), while actual boost was about 2.4 bar.
I know that these values are insanely high for a stock K03 2.7T. They were very short peak numbers.
How do I know if I need a MBC? Are there other tests to perform? I don't go WOT very often, but I don't want problems that could be easily avoided.

experienced similar problems. hesitation in the rpm range around 4.5. sometimes more than once up the rpm range. reflashed by autospeed and its like night and day. no hesitation and a smooth boost curve thru every gear. very satisfied
