Did anyone ever get this engine code???
This is kind of wierd i've been getting this engine code for some time P1606 its called Rought Terrain Recognition.. i have no idea what this is can anyone help me out.. also i have been getting the EVAP Leak Code.. Is ther a way to check the evap sensor??? It says i have a small leak... I've looked at it and i dont know i also did the old soapy water and i didn't see anything.. Any input would be great...

rough terrain code is for your ABS/ESP module. it's either coded incorrectly or
you're having a problem with some of your sensors, or you really were on rough terrain.
either way, clear it and keep an eye on your sensors.
as for the EVAP leak code, was it for a large leak or a small one?

i cleared it with my vag com and today when i was coming back from the city it came back on and now its staying on... i heard that these things go bad... as for the evap leak its small... and it only happens when its cold out..
any suggestions???

the evap thing is normal for cold climate situations and doesn't affect anything
so just clear it and don't worry.
yes, the modules go out; still worth a shot on cleaning the sensors first.
