i own a 2001 Audi s4. now i have been hearing from many people that most of the Audi's with the 2.7 twin turbo engines have a massive turbo failure. i just wanted to see if it is something i should worry about or not. your help is greatly appreciated.

i'm at 150k and i'm sure i will get to 200k with my turbos, and i have a heavier 2001 A6 Quattro 2.7T.

Make sure you change oil every 3k-5k miles, and only use Mobil 1 0W-40!!!!!

honest answer: they are either going to fail or they aren't. there is no foolproof way to tell when they are going to blow.
