oil change quantity, WTF?
The manual for my 2004 A4Q 3.0L V6 6M says 5.8 qts with oil & filter change. If I add only 5.8q then the level doesn't even register on the dipstick. My Haynes manual and the Amsoil website both say 6.8 quarts but I definitely don't want to overfill.
Can anyone tell me for sure the correct amount?

I had the same situation. I think I put in 6 qts. but can't remember for sure. Best thing to do it put in a little at a time & check the dipstick.
