Get the car scanned with VAG.com and see what the codes say.

if not guess and check.

MFS plug and socket for corrosion, bad connection. cheap.
or,
Transmission oil level check, and or oil and filter change. not as cheap.

keep looking in the search function, google for your issues.

Hi!
Thanks a lot for the replay
i have done that with VAG and there was 2 fault codes.
Codes was P028c- Implausible signal and other P0741 Torque converter clutch circuit performance/stuck off.
So, i clean these codes and i keep drive it same way i have been drive it because i need the car to go work.
And after i clean these codes i have been cheking again with VAG almost everydays and i have not codes there, all is ok with engine and transmission.
so, it could be only ATF?
PS. I also feel many times a smell of transmission burn oil.

Many thanks for the replay bydand

Fault Codes

see above, check for leak, leaks and sort it. If indeed it is ATF you smell burning.

Could well be from the engine, and engine oil if the codes have cleared.

Dude, will you stop with the misinformation. The MFS switch is NOT GOING TO CAUSE A NO MOVE CONDITION!!! Just stop. If there any issue with that sensor is just goes into limp mode and will have 4th and reverse. Enough leading people on already...If the fluid is full, linkage moves, and it doesnt move or slips like hell, the transmission is JUNK! The end. No magical sensor is going to suddenly make the car move again. Try understanding some basic principals of automatic transmission operation with mechanical direct drive and reverse for limp home mode without electronic control.

And the converter clutch stuck off code has nothing to do with the fact it wont move. Just means the converter was slipping or not locking when commanded.

Carlos Your description of whats happening is not very clear. Does the car try to move? Does it feel like its all bound up inside like something inside the transmission came apart and is jammed up?

Default For the benefit of the uneducated.

Sorry old man did not realize this was your board.
Like I said, check for codes, and check the ATF level and MFS as a simple cheap check for issues or part of the problem, if you have no scanner.

What is the misinformation in that?

Lots and lots of posts with the above, some work out some do not, you should get yourself out more these trailers can be stuffy.

2053 uneducated guesses does not make you an expert, when you do not have all the facts or codes.

The PO would appear to have the car running now and no codes reappearing yet.

The Seasons Greetings.
