I have a 1990 V8. that will not turn over, the car was working very well until I stopped at a convience store, got back into the car and nothing, as in the started did not move, the car was in part and all was proper. I had all power lights radio heater turn signal, no blow fuses. I thought I might have a dead short in the battery however, this was not the case, also thought the battery may have ground out on the seat frame but if it had been I would not have had any power what so every. I will dive into the car tomorrow to try and fine the problem. However, if any body has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thank you

If it's an automatic, then park/neutral safety switch. Try it in N.

I have check the battery terminals as I have all power, and have tried to just start the car but still lots of power but starter will not turn over. It is an automation and I tried to start it in neutral but it never started in neutral. I think it could be one of three as has been suggested to me. Park neutral switch starter solenoid, or ingition switch. I'll let you know what I find. thanks for the help.

Problem solved, Wire came off starter solenoid, took longer to get out the tools then to fix.
