Has anyone installed Koni sport shocks on B8.5 Allroad?
I'm getting REALLY tired of Koni and Bilstein telling me they don't make a sport shock for the B8.5 Allroad. I've lowered the car on VW Racing's progressive springs, so it's back to the sedan ride height. The A4-spec shocks should work, but I don't want to spring for the bucks until I know they'll fit.
Has anyone on the forum installed A4-spec Konis in a B8.5 Allroad? How did it work out?
Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

OurB 8.5 AR suspension is pretty much the same as the B8 suspension so I dont think you'll have any issues with installing B8 A4 shocks. Most of the issues with the B8.5 AR is using A4 rear springs which tend to be a little less rigid. You'll be fine though.

All right, they worked! I successfully installed Koni "Yellow" sport shocks on my '15 B8.5 Allroad. Two things: 1) I had already installed progressive-rate lowering springs from VW Racing; 2) the front of the car came down an additional half-inch or so with the install. The rear shocks did not change the rear ride height.
Distances from fender cladding lip to ground after installation: Front - 26 3/8";
Rear - 27 1/4".
The only compromise of note is that the short mud/water deflector flaps in front of the front wheels now scrape a tiny bit if I turn across a steep swale or into a driveway angle. The lowered height is not a real concern for me since I hardly ever go off-pavement.
