Thinking About an Allroad

Mazda 3 with heated seats vs Allroad without heated seats. Now, do you notice any difference apart from 'heated seats'. Right - one was a Mazda 3 and the other an A4.
Your back problems may be more related to the difference in the shape and construction of the seats, than the presence or absence of heat.
I find that low-end Toyota seats actually suit my back better than higher end seats (BMW, Porsche and Audi, all of which I own or have owned).
You might consider an after-market heated seat element, installed by someone who knows what he is doing.

I've owned a 2003 Mr2 Spyder, 2006 Mazda3 hatchback without heated seats, my 2009 Mazda3 hatchback with heated seats, and a 1997 Mazda 626 and a 2011 Mazda cx7 base model. The cx7 and allroad are the only ones that I've had back problems with.

Zero Problems with my 2013 allroad
my 2013 allroad is very reliable, like ZERO problem. I will be doing the 45000 mile service next month with my Audicare package.
Ive upgraded it to Stage 1 Revo so 0-60 mph is closer to 5.5 sec from around 6.2-6.3 sec. I also added Alu Kruez, so it handles and steers pretty well now. I changed the Wheels to he German made BBS. Im keeping it for as long as I can.

You are talking about first generation Allroads. 2013 onward completely different car. I have late 2014, 48K miles, zero issues...
