Default 2017 Allroad tackles deep single-track in Western Wa Snow

Thought you might enjoy this... After 20-25" of snow over three days, I finally tried to get off my hill near Seattle today in my 2017 Allroad. The extra clearance was REALLY helpful as the first few miles was in single-track 10-12 inches deep. A couple hours after I shot this the plow came so getting back home was a snap, but I was seriously concerned about what would happen if someone had been coming up the hill.

The best part is the beginning as I rev my way out of the driveway, and I sped up the video on parts of it - I wasn't going that fast!

Anyway, I made this for my neighbors that wanted to see what the conditions were like, but it was a good Audi promo too.

Shot on GoPro Hero 6 with suction cup on my roof.

I actually did go into Off Road mode for the single track portion. Didn't use the brake much, tried to just take it easy. Once I got to the plowed road I got out of Off Road.

Haha - Love the speeded up action! I should try this on our mountain (forest service) road which like yours is not plowed, and has the added fun of a steep and banked grade. There's nothing like that bouncy, floating, slightly out-of-control feeling!

Looks like spring road conditions here in Eastern Canada… jokes aside, this is why I’m driving an Audi. I never got stuck in snow in all these years.

Just the regular stock tires. We don't get snow like this... ever. It was an amazing winter event!
