2017 Coolant Leak Systemic Problem

Negative, I happen to be close enough to home whenever the light did come on to top off the coolant. If this were to happen on the road it's not hard finding distilled water, fill it to the min mark to keep the light away then add undiluted coolant whenever I return. Calling up Audi roadside assistance is an option too, they'll come by and top it off. From what I hear the part needed to repair this is on a long backorder and being confined to a loaner while the allroad is taken out of service isn't something I can accommodate.

I just got my car back with the thermostat and housing replaced (after a month) - but my dealer said there are over 500 cars on backorder for the parts nationally. my greater concern is that if the replacement parts are the same as the old ones this is just bound to happen in the future. what I don't know is whether or not they modified or improved the replacement parts to prevent future occurances.

The only reason I noticed is because I received a warning alert that the coolant level was low. I did not see any puddles or fluid anywhere.
I finally got my car back after 5 weeks (very tough to get the parts right now) and they had to replace the entire thermostat housing.

2017 audi a4 coolant leak
My coolant tank was nearly empty and the low coolant light came on. There were no signs of a leak on the floor or engine bay. I took it to the dealer to top off the cooIant since we live around 4 miles away. They topped it and I dropped it off a few days later. This looks to be a problem affecting B9 model . Cooling system was pressure tested and a leak was discovered on the Thermostat housing which was replaced under warranty.

2017 B9 A4 Not under warranty
Hi everyone, I have a 2017 B9 A4 that has the same issue but is not under warranty (yay!). For those that have had the fix performed, has it held up ok? Has the part been remedied so it won't happen again?

Another data point: I had a coolant leak and thermostat housing replacement. 2018 A4 allroad at ~30,000 miles. Thankfully under warranty but it sure seems like a design flaw.

I have a 2017 A4 Quattro, and I have been noticing a burning coolant smell occasionally. I recently had to add coolant when the MMI had an alert.
However, there isn't any sign of coolant leakage on the floor or on the engine, and the Audi dealership said that a pressure test didn't find any leaks. I'm concerned that there could be an engine block crack or leakage around the turbo.
Is there anything I can tell the dealership to check while it is still under warranty?
Thanks,
AzJazz
