Having owned or leased mostly black cars, just be prepared for the maintenance needed to keep it looking that way.

I really like this! Only thing I'd change would be swapping it to the full-paint package, but that is personal preference. Somehow convinced myself to go full paint on my allroad when I order it, unless I go with Glacier White.

Exact direction I'm going in once I get my hands on her. Someone beat me to it. Looks great!
Photoshop only for now for me.

Thanks for the advice. me 2, have been driving a black car for the pass 14 years and now wanted a change. My Black Q5 lease is ending soon and the black all road look too much like my current Q5 hence going to white. Glacier or ibis and full body paint or not??

It's such a personal decision, made harder by how difficult it is to find these things in person to look at.

I initially ordered Glacier without full paint, then saw one exactly like that drive past here in FL, and immediately called the dealer and changed it to full paint because the cladding looked too 'Subaru-ish'. That said, I've since seen Subarus without the cladding!

Overall though I'm still glad I changed to full paint. I think it looks a bit more refined.

If you didn't see it, there's a thread over here about color, where there is also discussion about full paint.
