Headlight High Beam inop
2018 AR Prestige with less than 1000 mi. just developed a left high beam fault/inop. Anxiously awaiting warranty repair (drive at night extensively). Anyone else lose and LED yet? I was wondering if the entire headlight assembly is one unit or LED modules are replaceable individually. I have PPF applied not only to the front end, but headlights as well. Highly unlikely Audi will address the film if they must replace the entire assembly...😕

I'm sure this will be covered due to your vehicle having less than 1k miles on it, but it makes me wonder how much it'll cost to replace these LED headlight units down the road since they are lights bulbs and *technically* aren't covered under the warranty. I know LEDs have a much much better lifespan and 99% of them will outlive the rest of the vehicle, but there are bound to be a few units that prematurely die (like Diesel320's).

Some owners say rip-off:
Audi Pure Protection "Term Care Select" Is this worth it?
Others are on the fence:

I bought it not for the brakes and belts, but because of all the new electronics in the car.

Just a follow up to my headlight woes. Left high beam faulted and technician was unable to restore high beam operation. Total left headlight assembly replaced. Sadly, in this case, no individual LED modules to replace. This requires the removal and re installation of entire front bumper and all the associated sensors including a extensive realignment process (Prestige ) of 3 + hours. Fortunately all covered under warranty. . My situation had the vehicle down for 3 days. Dealer did provide a loaner '18 Q5. Although the Q was not a Prestige, I sure sure like my AR better.
