Default Neuspeed Power Module

I drive in Sport and Dynamic all day every day, but still cannot stand the throttle response. In regular "D" mode, it's just like the car doesn't want to move, but I'm never in "D". I don;t want to do an APR tune because it will void the warranty, but I just read about the Neuspeed Power Module and how it's just a plug and plan module and doesn't get detected at all.

Has anyone installed this? Is the throttle response better? Apparently it also has the capability to increase power by 30 or 50 horsepower. Is that noticeable?

Thanks!

You seemed to have timed your post quite well!
I just installed by neuspeed last week. Absolutely no regrets. The power bump in noticeable, it hauls *** when I step on it, and no TD1.

I would purchase it again in a heartbeat

Awesome, thanks! Is the throttle response better as well? That's my real focus, not just power increase. When I step on the gas, I don't want a millisecond delay, I just want it to GO! I'm not talking about turbo lag either, just the drive by wire delay, even in "S" mode.

Yes I would say ever so slightly it is better. Though it really could use some work

Believe me when I step on it, it moves! Haha

DT Power or now DTE Systems is selling a piggyback plus pedal box which lets you change the response to your preferred setting.
I personally haven't pulled the trigger, but I hear really good things about it. Aaron who handles the US side of DT Power is super nice, very knowledgeable and helpful.
I will go for both at some point later this year.

Just as an FYI for people who care about their warranty in case people weren't aware... APR now has Audi vehicles in their list of "APR Plus" program. It is more expensive, but they claim that they replace your factory power train warranty with a power train warranty of their own.

I installed a similar piggy back, the Burger JB4. Good power all around. The car is now more fuel sensitive and less fuel efficient. With good 93 octane it really hauls ***. That's with a roof rack, roof box, and a hundred pounds of gear in the trunk. Almost kept up with a B9 S5 a few times. Throttle response in S is instantaneous.

I do get an occasional check engine light for knock threshold on cylinder 1, usually when crap gas is used.
