'01 1.8T with 3300 miles oil level low by 1/4. What kind of oil to add? Regular or Synthetic? TIA

Engines come with synthetic....
...but regular oil will mix in fine.
If you plan to continue with synthetic add that (Mobil 1 or similar). If you plan to take what Audi offers for free at oil changes (non synthetic in the US), just add a decent brand like Valvoline.<p>2001 A4 1.8TQMS
