'01 S4 $33,400, 33K...
Thinking of trading my '01 1.8T. It's the same color/trim as my current car with a *little* more power and a fancy badge. Could possibly get a better payment too. Argh!!!

I would shoot for $30K...
maybe $31K if it came with Audi Assured. $33.5K is too high though. That's what I paid for mine last June, with 17K miles on the clock, in pristine condition, and with $500 worth of extra stuff the original owner gave me.

here's my guess: dealer got it for ~$28k, offer $30k and walk when they say no. he'll call tomorrow
saying that they'll do $32,xxx. Tell them to call you when they're ready to sell it for only a $2k markup, which is more than enough. If they say otherwise, ask for proof of what they paid more for it. I love playing games with them.... in the end, you'll pay the $30k.
Also, I'd sell you car privately to make more off it then taking a loss by trading it.
my $0.02 for free

No, mine was a private party sale...no AA.
I'll be shelling out $2.5K for a good extended warranty before I hit 50K. Either that or I'll sell the car before it falls out of warranty. There is no way in hell I'm owning this car without a warranty!

Nothing more than 30k...sell your 1.8T privately...they will screw you on that...
As nice as the car is, it is still the old platform...and it's replacement is on sale in Europe...soon to be here...and it is used...hold on tight man...
