Default 12.827 at 104.88 today

Went to the strip with a couple friends today to see if I could rip into the 12s now that I've got a FMIC. Best run was a 12.827 at 104.88 and I think there was still some room to spare on the launch to shave that a tenth.

Particulars: 50 degrees ambient temp, 104 homebrew (100 octane plus 25% toluene) on 104 programming, 17" OZ Superleggeras wrapped in Hoosier R3S03 225/45/17 R compound rubber, approximately 25psi.

Other related mods...APR Stage 3, APR V2.0 exhaust, APR test pipe, TT BPV, Racetec ZFlow FMIC.

Also worthy of note: I pulled a couple 12.950s on my all season Falken Ziex 512 rubber wrapped around 26 pound BBS SX 18" rims as well.

Quattro driveline loss is really starting to irritate me at speed. I tore a few Mustang SVT Cobras new *******s off the line only to have them blow by me within 200 feet of the trap. =/ Oh well - not bad for 1.78L of displacement. :-P

Default Some old American iron, can't remember exactly what.

There weren't many people there, and besides our three A4s, it was all American stuff, both old and new. A TON of Cobras, a few Lightnings, and lots of OLD stuff that made a racket and went like hell.

Nothing with 1.8L of dicplacement and four doors though. :-P
