19" but no wider than 8,5"

Default 18's unless you like taking your car into the wheel shop and feeling every tiny pebble . . .

Audi engineers did not design our B5 suspensions for 19" rims. You may fit them, but the ride quality and performance you will sacrifice will likely make you unhappy.

18" max and 17" is ideal. You will be lucky to get away with 48 lbs a corner with 18" rims &amp; wheels; on 17" rims &amp; wheels, you can see as little as 40 lbs a corner. I would not even like to think how much weight 19" rims and wheels will add.

17" for go; 18" for show; 19" a no.
