Default 18062 P1654 Please check DTC Memory of control panel ECU

1st time posting here...But read lots of these threads. Fault code in subject line; anyone have this before and what exactly is wrong...Any help is greatly appreciated.

My guess is your ECU is boned. Time to start looking for a used box.

car-part works.... I got my CH boxes using car-part... it's a gamble though.

you tell visa to stop charges on your cc.

Default It may break due to moisture, etc months after the CC bill is paid...

This is why I always have an untampered ECU in my trunk. I'm sort of paranoid.

Default good idea

twentyvalveb5's s4 ecu just randomly went out. apparently there was a short circuit on his O2s which fried the ecu.

the EPC light came on, car drove fine. but seemed to be pulling a lot of timing. new ecu and no EPC light.
