1997 A4 2.8 + strange rear noise *Please Help*
Hey everyone. I have a 1997 Audi A4 2.8 FWD that has about 98,000 miles on it and I have noticed a strange noise coming from the rear of the car. It occurs under 2 coniditons: when it is cold outside (45 degrees or below) and after driving up a large hill. After I finish going up the hill and the road flattens out, it makes this terrible rumbling noise from the rear, most notibly the driver side. It continues to make the noise for a good 2 minutes or so. Any suggestions?

I already had both rear wheel bearings replaced. Is it possible the shop that did that replacement didn't do a sufficient job?
