Default 2001 A4 1.8T GIAC 5 Speed Chip Ready NOW!

$495 plus return shipping. 24hr turnaround!

+40hp and 60ft/lbs torque. Average 1.05bar of boost. The slightly lower compression ratio of the 01 1.8T allows us to run a tad more boost than previous models.

Please contact us with any questions.

http://www.awe-tuning.com</a

Default 226lbs-ft of torque?wow, the ULEV stuff musta really killed the torque! My wett makes 236!

and its the most conservative 1 bar chip... hehe, can't wait for the 1.1 bar chip!

Default errrrr

170hp/166ft-lbs
+40/+60
210hp/226ft-lbs

Anand sees that the GIAC '01 makes 226ft-lbs, while his Wett '00 makes 236ft-lbs, so he attributes the difference to the ULEV (so he obviously knows it's 170hp)

Ed points out that APR makes 245ft-lbs for both '00 and '01, so it appears that ULEV might not be the cause - it's just how the GIAC is programmed.

Default OOPS! typo...

The correct torque figures should have read 80ft/lbs rather than 60. We will have dyno sheets up in a week or so. Stay Tuned!
