2001 Audi A4 Quattro
Looking at on of these cars on craigslist ( 2001 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro) Currently has 123xxx (123000) miles and was just wondering if its a good deal for 2300. Paint looks good still, interior looks great. Dont know much about audis or turbos so is there anything i should keep in mind. and is 123xxx really high for this car thanks! New to forums

Expect higher maintence and repair costs if you are used to driving a 4cyl Honda or similar. However, in many cases you can get parts from Auto recycling yards and maybe do some work yourself. It's not a new car, so before you go throwing new parts at it, check around. I'll be getting my window motor from a salvage yard because I'll save myself $100.

I have a 2001 A4 1.8T quattro. Expect to be fixing every 3 months or so, but then again it has 123,000mi on it and you're paying only $2,300.
I'd do the timing belt soon if the previous owner has no record of doing it. It's between $800 and $1,100(depending on where you take it) and takes a full day.
