2nd gear shift
Is it normal for the shift lever to pop up about a 1/4 inch after shifting into 2nd gear? Sometimes my shifter will shift in 3rd gear also...

If you are referring to slight movement while on the gas or shaking this is normal

yah, gently rest your hand on top of the shifter, give it gas, and let go...you'll feel it move.
