96 to 2000 center console conversion.
i am thinking about doing that, does anyone know if all the stuff fits?, and what i'd need, my climate control thingy died, i figured i might as well do it. since i hate the fact that i don't have a cup holder. lol. i know i need the inside rack/frame, the buttons, cup holder, front bezel, and stuff. does the 2000 climate control with intergrated heated seat controls plug right in?

well, for one thing, the wood trim thing is all broken up, the climate control thing is fried, the..
buttons on top are ugly as hell, i have no cupholders, i already have an aftermarket radio, what is there to lose?

I was going to do the same thing
from what I remember you need
a new climate control, new double din console, new ashtray, new rear console, trim plate, etc.
Probably could be had used for $500 or so total.
