Has anyone converted the single DIN space (Concert) to a double DIN?
Is this possible? Perhaps by moving the climate control down like on the 2000+ models with the Symphony unit... Has anyone done this?

i'm looking into doing this as we speak, from what i undestand...
we will need to get a new climate control for some reason and a new ashtray and probably a few other things mayby minor. If you find out anything part #'s or info let me know because i'm in the process now.

are the part numbers for the pre2000 climate control and ashtray
different? I'm interested in doing this, but getting a new climate control and ashtray would suck. I'll let you know what I find out. Please post your findings here too. Thanks

my Symphony radio will be here Mon- Tues. and the bracket for the radio Wed. so
i am waiting to see whats up with the climate control unit when i get everything. From my understanding it is smaller and i don't think that it is the face plate that needs to changed it is one piece.

Got my Symphony HU in today and plugged it in and it works great, i honestly think it has more...
power than the Concert HU. It sounds great. Tomorrow i am getting the bracket and Climate Control and Ashtray unit. I will know a little more tomorrow.
