Pretty tight. You may get away by pulling the belt off the left cam sprocket and tensioner 80% out
meaning some of the belt is still on the sprocket. And then you may have about an inch of room behind the belt to work the T-stat housing out.
You'll still have to take off everything upto the TBelt to get to the Tstat housing though. But at least if above works, you don't need to worry about loosing the timing off the sprockets and lower gear. Slightly loosening the tensioner will also help with this approach.
