Looking at a 98 A4 1.8T .. think its Mariner Blue/Ecru Leatherette ...no wood or brushed stainless trim rather color matched blue trim and quattro badge seems to be in odd location on dash. Never seen Heated leatherette either. is this unusual or just not stock ?

Probably a 98.5. Consider it an early release of the '99.
I think they did have nautical colour cobinations, mine's one of the first 98.5's and other than the stereo looks like this one with respect to layout and buttons, etc. Haven't seen this before and initially thought it was AM but given that it's a white interior, it's possibly factory to give that nautical look
