Default 99 a4 1.8t q abs fuse/relay location, please help

hey guys, i have a 99 a4 1.8t q tip. the car had light flood damage when i bought it. aside from missing the back panel of the drivers seat. the car is flawless, except. the air bag light is constantly on, and the abs is screwed up. when the light is on the abs does not work at all, when the light is off it seems to kick in slightly when coming to a slow stop. most annoying. i dont care about the dash light being on i just want the damn abs disconnected. i have searched the board on this topic and it is everywhere, from what i gather the abs uses fuse 7,16,41. i have no fuse or connections for a fuse in 16&41. if i pull 7, the abs light stays on but the red brake light flashes, this i cannot deal with. is there a way to disable this system without this flashing red brake light coming on. again i can deal with the steady yellow abs but not the flashing red! a relay prehaps, i have the panel dropped now 5:35 pm PA time. i would like to solve this before it gets dark. please help

also now that i have the lower panel dropped to access the relays, noticed that on the relay panel that has the sticker across it which reads something like blah blah 30(in red) 30(in red) and then diesel something or other. there is a location with a 3 in the upper left hand corner which seems to be missing a relay, it appears to have red wires bolted to the bottom of the panel. the open socket has connections for a relay box to plug into, but no relay is there. air bag relay maybe? could be why the light is on. but the last thing i want to do is put in a relay and have the airbag go off!

Default no idea where the fuses are...

try fixing your car! i'd say since it's a "swimmer" the place to start is the abs head just in front of the windshield washer resevior. take off the electrical connectors and clean them. if i had a swimmer i'd buy some WD-40 and go at all the electrical connectors on the car.

sorry dude, just those lights drive me nuts. airbag, care less. had 3 325's and an m3 and the first thing i did was pop the back seat and disconnect the aibag sensor. as for the brakes, i hate abs and can do without it. the car wasn't at the bottom of a lake, just had some light water damage. i've been driving it for almost a year. drove it home from the lot, it was ready to go. well here was my solution, pulled #7 fuse, removed cluster, opened it up and blacked out the 3 lights, also removed the "chime" speaker. started her up, drove her around and no problems. a bit unorthodox i know but didn't do anything irreversable. mods so far are n710dv, n75j, apr chip, & do it yourself cai w/k&n filter, cost me $40 for the filter and $5 for the plumbing parts from home depot, lol.

I am having the same problem, my ABS modulator is shot and I just want to shut the lights off (can't afford the $1400 repair). How do you get the cluster off, I tried but was unsuccessful. I don't want to screw around with it too much. Let me know ASAP if you can man, Thanks.
