A4 in Australia
From reading everyones praise of the A4, audi must send all of their friday afternoon make to Australia.
My 2.6 quattro is nothing but trouble.
On delivery there were obvious paint chips covered up on front bumper.
In 80,000k over 3 1/2 years the following faults have occurred
engine security system failed, car could not be started, required 3 callouts until problem was diagnosed.
gearbox locked in reverse, off the road for a week, dealer also replaced whole clutch assembly, cost to me aud1,000(gearbox was warranty)
cruise control intermittently faulty from day 1, eventually dealer replaced it at 70,000k.
Dealer persuaded me that front discs (and pads)should be replaced at 60,000k,is this normal? He said most drivers got less.
I fear what will happen next, do you think they might extend the 3 year warranty?
My mx6 has just done 200,000k and other than regular service has had one fault, a broken window winder
